When planning the line-up for the 2007 festival, Richard Shindell was one of the names at the top of our list. He's one of the finest singer/songwriters and guitar players around, but also a very rare visitor to the UK (the last time was as support for Joan Baez around 10 years ago), and we were unsure whether he would be able to fit a UK visit into his diary (although American, he lives in Argentina and his US tour schedule take up much of his available time).After a month or so of negotiation and discussions we were thrilled to get Richard for our festival, it's a real coup and he will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the whole weekend
