Line-up amendments

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve had to make a couple of small alterations to the line-up.

Patrick Street were due to play on Monday afternoon, but are sadly unable to make the festival – we’re currently looking at filling the slot and expect to announce an excellent new act over the next few days.

Bob Harris was scheduled to MC for a few hours on Sunday night but is now unable to be with us on that evening.

We’re all really disappointed that neither Patrick Street nor Bob will be at the 2007 festival, but they will obviously be on our lists for booking in 2008. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment.

We’ll announce new bookings on the blog and festival website as soon as we have them confirmed.

can live without whispering Bob but one of the main reasons I booked was to see Patrick St. I see Altan are doing a festival or two over here, or you could try Danu?? there must be a decent Irish band around in August, or are they all in America??

This is terrible not a small amendment as julien says Patrick Street are the main reason I booked. Please up the Irish contingent. Perhaps Dervish are available after Eurovison. They are really great and need to show the world

Hello Jullian & Tim

we are just as miffed as you not to get Patrick Street, they are a top class act. We had booked them for the Monday of the festival partly because Paul Brady is on the same day. We had hoped Andy Irvine might have joined Paul for a Planxty number. However it wasn't to be. We have already indicated to Adastra that we want Patrick Street for 2008. Sorry to disapoint you this year but we will remeber the need for a strong Irish contingent for 2008. We hope our line up is strong enough to retain your support.

All the Best

Alan

thanks for your reply Alan. hi Tim, looks like only you and me bothered??? i agree, the line up is v strong and i thought last year's festival was great, so you still have my support , and, of course i've already paid my £60! out of interest, what happens when a headline act pulls out? do you try and replace them with a similar band , or at all??
