12 hours before gates open!

Currently sat in my tent after an excellent day on site, everything is just about ready - the caterers are on site, lots of stewards arrived today and we're pretty much ready to go!

The satellite link up is working and wi-fi is live on site (leaflets will be given out as you arrive).

Wherever you are travelling in from we hope you have a safe and delay free journey - gates open at 10am, programmed events kick off around 5:30pm, with main stage at around 8pm.

Hope you all have a fantastic festival!

Logged on to watch Friday night artists.

The Chair were pretty good, but audio and video were badly out of sync; with video very poor indeed.

The stream froze for the other two acts, so never saw or heard them.

A good innovation, but hope the technical problems are fixed soon.

Powderfinger - sorry you had some problems with the the stream.
I've had comments that everything was working fine and people around the world watched the stream without problem; so I'm not sure what the issue was.

I'll have a chat with the engineers, who have stats on who was watching at any one time and see if there were any problems.

The stream in the main tent is perfect, but because the tent is so big, it's only ever perfectly in sync towards the back, if you're right at the front you can notice a slight difference!

Hi Guys,
Had a quick watch last night, looks and sounds very good.

Can confirm what powderfinger said regarding the syncing of the pictures to the sound. There is around about half a second delay on the pictures. Probably being caused by your main transmission server not being able to process the pictures as fast as the audio.

I didnt notice any problems with the streaming but I only logged on a couple of times and wasnt watching constantly.

Hope this helps.

Rich.

On site - in the family are at the back, level with the Sabrina Tent but close to the river. No WiFi signal here unfortunately - I thought there was WiFi on site. Tried by HSDPA modem - played BBC iPlayer ok, but struggled with the feed - kept on buffering.

Shame there was no audio stream option, that would have been good enough.

Thanks for checking.

First act this afternoon was a no-go. But the other 3 were fine (i.e. no interruptions, but still out of sync).

But, nothing so far tonight. Dead as a dodo!
